Ubuntu in VPS Hosting
With all of our
Linux VPS hosting services, you can select the Ubuntu OS from the order page. We're aware of the fact that some pieces of software have specific requirements with regard to the Operating System they're set up on, and you're able to select between the 32-bit and the 64-bit release of Ubuntu. Also, you can choose if the VPS should include the Hepsia Control Panel or no Control Panel at all. In the first case, you'll receive everything you'll need pre-installed - MySQL, e-mail server, FTP, etc. software, and you are able to do everything through your web browser, but the root access is limited; whereas in the second case, you'll receive Ubuntu plus the Apache server software only, so you are able to install anything freely because of the full root access that you'll be given, yet the server management tasks can be performed using a console. Our admins can monitor your VPS and upgrade the Ubuntu installation weekly when you add the optional Managed Services bundle that we offer.

Ubuntu in Dedicated Web Hosting
Ubuntu is among the Operating System options which you'll find on our order page when you decide to obtain one of our
dedicated web hosting. We'll set up the 32-bit or the 64-bit edition, so as to satisfy the system requirements of the apps which you wish to set up on the server. You may also choose the software that will run on your machine, as we will set up only the Apache web server software, so the rest can be tailor-made software of your choice. You are able to set up the latter without any problems through a Secure Shell console, as you will have root-level access and you'll have full control over your hosting server. You can set up a web hosting Control Panel too and control some things from a graphical interface, as long as it can function on an Ubuntu-driven machine. To make things simpler for you, we also supply a Managed Services upgrade, that, among other things, features OS updates.
